Well, er….almost.

I was making great progress but the last couple of days the heat’s been getting to me and I just couldn’t get into knitting more than 10 lines at a time.

I need to finish my Phil Ruban tank so I have it for the hot weather. That doesn’t have much to go on it so I might have it done by weekend. There’s obviously no rush for the hoodie. I figure I’ll need it…oh…about November or so. But, if I keep plugging away at it at home, I might just have it on time.

Now, what should my summer project be? Could it be the long neglected Surf? Or do we need something new? Mwahahahaha.

Insanity

It’s been one of those weeks where I feel the universe is against me. Red tape left and right, regarding cell phones, health insurance, client contracts, blah blah blah, and to make it all worse, my internet connection is down and I’m on a very shaky dial up that disconnects every 5 minutes.

So I’ll keep this brief. In spite of the hot weather, I’m still pluggin’ away at the Pegase hoodie. It’s coming out great! But I will finish the Phil Ruban tank soon too, and then must decide what my next summer project will be. I will work on the hoodie at home, in the a/c, but it won’t travel in summer.

Back when my connection is better, with a progress photo.

So this is what you get from one skein of Pegase, and one cute hoodie pattern.
I have only 14 skeins to go! I did carelessly make several mistakes that caused me to knit the same 5 lines about 1000 times yesterday, but other than that, not too bad on progress. And then this morning I found a couple more mistakes. I decided to leave them. No, I won’t point them out. I figure if you noticed them, so be it, it’s at the bottom of the back anyway. And if you haven’t noticed them, all the better.

So, it’s a rainly dreary Sunday, and I expect to make some more progess on this. I should be cleaning though. This place is a wreck. And I’m considering an early evening excursion to the see the latest Harry Potter. We’ll see if I feel like moving.
